I had the good fortune to photograph Phoenix for his senior pictures. A football player for Mayfield Heights, he was nervous to have his picture taken but with some coaxing and joking around I was able to get some genuine smiles.
This was my first wedding that was a part of the Indian culture. We started at the Bolton House at the Cleveland Clinic on Friday to photograph the Holud Ceremony which was an exquisite affair. Vaguely similar to a wedding shower, this was a celebration to prepare the bride and groom for their wedding the following day. Loaded with songs, dancing and traditions laced with luck and well-wishes for the bride and groom was the bulk of this ceremony. By the time we were done for the evening, we felt like family. It was an honor to be asked to photograph such an important step in Sarah and Jon’s preparation for marriage.
Spring has officially sprung and what better way then to get some beautiful pictures on East 4th Street? The city does such a great job keeping this strip of restaurants and shops looking spectacular. We took advantage of the spring flowers for a breathtaking addition to Ashley and Brad’s engagement session.
This was such a fun, energetic wedding. The entire day was filled with laughter and warmth. We had a great time on East 4th street in Cleveland for the group pictures. It was also great to see everyone on the dance floor at the reception. I definitely loved photographing this wedding!
